On Monday (Oct 9), Sedalia Police took a took report from a woman in the 1100 block of S. Sneed Ave. She told officers that sometime overnight, someone had taken items from her locked vehicle. According to the police report, the victim's purse was missing, which contained credit cards and about $400.00 cash. The purse is described as a tan Coach brand, worth about $300. There were no further details listed in the report.


On Monday (Oct 9), a woman reported to Sedalia Police that she was in a vehicle with an unknown subject, near Burger King on July 30. The victim told police that the male subject told her to get out of the vehicle, then he left the scene with her purse. There are no suspects and no other details were listed in the police report.


On October 4, Sedalia Police responded to the 800 block of S. Marshall Ave for a reported burglary. The victim said his building was broken into. The police report indicates the siding on the building was damaged but the victim did not notice anything missing. There are no suspects.
