42-year-old suspect arrested on a Morgan County Warrant Wednesday morning

Just before noon Wednesday morning Sedalia police conducted a warrant check on an individual in the 500 block of East Saline. The suspect identified as 42-year-old Scott Tittsworth of Sedalia was found to have an active warrant out of Morgan County. Tittsworth was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $500 cash only bond on the warrant.

Wednesday morning a local business reported a burglary that occurred overnight

Around 8:30 Wednesday morning the Sedalia police took a burglary complaint from an employee of Achieve Heating and Cooling at 2508 West Main. According to the complainant sometime overnight someone forced entry to their warehouse, and stole numerous power tools, and other items. Thyere was no information on a possible suspect at news time.

Wednesday afternoon Sedalia police took a home burglary complaint from a victim

Just after 1 o'clock Wednesday afternoon Sedalia police took a burglary complaint from a victim at the police station. according to the victim sometime between the 16th of June and the 11th of July someone broke into a house he owns in the 700 block of West Cooper, and stole $3100 worth of items from a residence he owns. There were no suspects at newstime.

Driver sought after they abandon their vehicle during a pursuit Thursday night

At 10:10 Thursday night Sedalia police observed a vehicle with the wrong plates displayed, and attempted to stop the vehicle at 16th and Ohio. The police report states the vehicle, a 1995 Lincoln Towncar drove in an erratic manor while trying to evade the police, and the driver finally abandoned the vehicle at 15th, and Brown, and eluded capture. The suspect is being sought at this time.

Driver of a GMC Pickup being sought for traffic violation after abandoning the vehicle

At 8:13 Wednesday night Sedalia police observed a GMC Pickup at 6th and Osage with no plates. The driver managed to elude the police long enough to abandon the vehicle in the 600 block of West 5th. The driver is being sought at newstime.

Jiffy Stop at 1722 West Broadway reported a $50.42 gas drive4 off, that occurred early this (Friday) morning. There are no suspects at newstime.
