Here is your Sedalia Police Crime Report for June 15, 2012.

Jefferson City man arrested on state charges on limited driving charge

Just after 3 o’clock this morning, Sedalia police stopped a vehicle at 18th and Warren for defective tail lights. Upon contact with the driver, 31-year-old Daniel Brown of Jefferson City, he was found to be in violation of his limited driving privilege. According to the police report, Brown was required to have an ignition lock on any vehicle he drove. The vehicle he was driving did not have the lock, and Brown was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was placed on 24-hour hold pending state charges.

 

Vehicle in the 1900 block of South Stewart has all four tires punctured

At 1:15 Thursday afternoon, Sedalia police took a property damage complaint from a victim at the police
station. According to the victim someone punctured all four of his vehicle’s tires as it sat in front of his residence in the 1900 block of South Stewart sometime overnight. The cost of replacing the tires was placed at around $1070.00. There were no suspects at the time of the police report.

 

Intoxicated driver arrested during an accident investigation on Engineer

At 2 o’clock this morning the Sedalia police received a call on an accident in the 1300 block of
South Engineer avenue. The police report states upon arrival the driver, 35-year-old Michelle Brown of rural Sedalia, was found to be intoxicated. Brown was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $531.50 bond.

 

Thefts from a motor vehicle reported in the 900 block of East 9th

At 11:14 Thursday night A victim in then 900 block of East 11th reported thefts from her vehicle. The victim told the Sedalia police, that someone had entered her unlocked vehicle in front of her residence, and stole $20 in change, and other items. There were no suspects at news time.
