The following Sedalia Police crime reports are from the morning of Thursday, Aug. 22, 2013.

Sedalia Police Encounter Two Sets of Scams

The Children's Therapy Center reported to Sedalia Police they encountered a scam when somebody was calling for donations using their name. They were asking subjects for bank information so they could withdraw money from their account.

Two complainants reported to Sedalia Police that  an individual using a telephone registered to a Sedalia resident attempted to scam them on Aug. 13. Both scams were in reference to a Craigslist advertisement that the complainants had offered rewards for the return of their stolen property. The complainants were located in Ft. Richardson, Alaska and San Francisco, Calif. The investigation revealed that the suspect was likely located in another state.

Sedalia Police Investigate a Theft

A woman in the 600 Block of East 10th reported to Sedalia Police that her medication was stolen from the vehicle on Aug. 20 between 2 and 3 p.m.

Property Damage Reported to Sedalia Police

Roadrunner Auto Sales at 1615 East Broadway reported to Sedalia Police that someone had thrown a rock through the driver's side window of a 1995 Ford Mercury.

Multiple Arrests Made

Sedalia Police arrested Michael Martin for stealing liquor at Plaza 16 and was a minor in possession, bond set at $1,067 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Mark Pate for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, bond set at $1,067 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Tyron Gilmore for failure to appear, bond set at $88.50.
