Sedalia Police Investigate Sexual Cases

On Aug. 2, the Children’s Division received a hotline in reference to a child who disclosed that she was inappropriately touched by someone she knows.

Yesterday (Aug. 5), Sedalia Police went to North Grand and Morgan Street for a call of a man that was flashing motorists. Sedalia Police responded and found a naked man dancing in the middle of the roadway. Reginald Jones was arrested for sexual misconduct in the 2nd degree.

Sedalia Police Conduct a Routine Traffic Stop, Leads To A Drug Bust

Yesterday (Aug. 5), Sedalia Police was on patrol in the area of North Emmett and East Boonville when they saw a vehicle disobey a stop sign and pulled the vehicle over. Richard Heston was arrested for driving while revoked, and a passenger was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and introducing contraband into the jail facility.

Sedalia Police Investigate An Assault

A man in the 1900 Block of West 10th reported to Sedalia Police that he was assaulted and his vehicle was damaged too.

Sedalia Police arrested Robert Smith for failure to obey and resisting arrest, bond set at $533.50.
