The following Sedalia Police crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013

There was a one-vehicle accident in the area of Highway 50 and South Hancock yesterday afternoon (Nov. 11) at 3:09 p.m. Amanda Powers, 26, was driving southbound on Hancock when a pedestrian stepped off the sidewalk in front of her and was struck. The victim, 37-year-old David Towl, refused treatment, but EMS personnel convinced him to go to Bothwell Regional Health Center's Emergency Room for treatment. Sedalia Police issued a citation to Powers for having no insurance. There was no damage to the vehicle and no update on the status of Towl.

A woman in the 900 Block of South Arlington reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a laptop valued at $350 from the home on Nov. 6 between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.

A woman in the 1600 Block of West 11th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a small table and two chairs, valued at $100, from the backyard between 2 p.m. on Nov. 10 and 1 p.m. on Nov. 11.

Sedalia Police arrested Miguel Zaragoza for driving while revoked.
