The following Sedalia Police crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013.

Several Thefts Reported

Employees of Sedalia Automotive at 3000 Clinton Road reported to Sedalia Police that a blue 1998 Dodge Dakota was stolen sometime since Oct. 2.

Employees of Walmart reported to Sedalia Police that they found a man in a bathroom hiding things taken from the store. The suspect went to the doors and denied taking anything and left. The man left one item behind and is believed to have stolen two other items, valued at $56.97.

Sedalia Police received a report that an Acer tablet with charger, Nintendo DS Lite and three rosaries, valued at $300, were stolen from a home in the 800 Block of East 6th between 5:30 and 9:45 p.m. on Oct. 11.

A man in the 300 Block of McAnally Court reported to Sedalia Police that a cell phone, valued at $75, was stolen between 11:45 p.m. on Oct. 11 and 10:25 p.m. on Oct. 13.

Sedalia Police Investigate A Dog Bite

Sedalia Police went to Bothwell Regional Health Center on a report of a dog bite that happened in the area of East 11th and South Summit. A 9-month-old girl was bit by a dog that came out of an alleyway and knocked the stroller over while the mother and child were walking.

Sedalia Police Make Several Arrests

Sedalia Police arrested Christopher Miller for failure to appear, bond set at $300.

Sedalia Police arrested Stephen Cortner for domestic assault in the 3rd, possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while suspended.

Missing Bikes Reported to Sedalia Police

A purple Murray Back Trace 20-inch bike was found in the area of East 11th and South Ohio. Sedalia Police took possession of the bike and brought it to the bike shed.

A small white and purple bike was found on the playground of Sacred Heart yesterday (Oct. 14).
