The following Sedalia Police crime reports are from the morning of Tuesday, September 1, 2015.

A woman reported someone stole $900 in goods from her storage unit at West 50 Storage on Saturday (August 29). A light blue Mitsubishi Gallant was seen leaving the area at the time of the theft.

A man reported to Sedalia Police he was the victim of a hit and run accident, while at a garage sale in the area of Kay and Sue Lane on August 29. Someone hit and damaged the front bumper of the man's vehicle, between 9:30 and 10 Saturday morning.

Sedalia Police arrested Evan Bankovich for failure to appear-misdemeanor out of Miller County, bond set at $2,000. Bankovich also faces charges of a drug violation for possession of marijuana-misdemeanor.

A man in the area of West 9th and South Harrison reported to Sedalia Police someone stole a GPS, valued at $200, from his vehicle.

Sedalia Police arrested Nelson Romero-Lazaro for driving while intoxicated, bond set at $533.50 cash/surety.

Sedalia Police arrested Jonathan Pierson for driving while suspended, possession of drug paraphernalia and a drug violation for possession of opium and cocaine.

A wallet was found in the area of East 12th and South Montgomery. The wallet was turned into Sedalia Police for safe keeping.

A necklace with a medallion was found near the Sedalia Police station, at 201 West 2nd. The necklace was placed into the Sedalia Police property room.

A backpack was found in the backyard of a home in the area of West 14th and South Park on August 30.
