Thieves cut a fence at a job site on West 3rd

At 9:06 Tuesday morning, Sedalia police responded to the 1500 block of West 3rd on a property damage complaint. Upon arrival, an employee of AMF Electric of St. Louis Missouri told the officers someone had gained entry to a job site at the location by cutting a fence. The police report states nothing was missing from the property, but the fence received an unknown amount of damage. There were no suspects at news time.

4-year-old male child suffers serious injuries in a Benton County Accident Monday

Around 4:15 Tuesday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident on Lost Valley Road, eight tenths of a mile south of “OO” in Benton County. The accident reportedly occurred as the 1998 Chevrolet driven by 20-year-old Jackie Harper of Warsaw traveled off the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned. Harper received moderate injuries in the accident, while a passenger 4-year-old Damien Jones of Warsaw sustained serious injuries. Both victims were flown by Staff for Life to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment. There was no other information in the accident report.

Warrensburg teenager injured in a Johnson accident Tuesday night

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident just after 9:30 Tuesday night on Southeast 201 Road four tenths of a mile South of Southeast 500 Road in Johnson County. The accident happened when a 2000 Dodge Stratus driven by 17-year-old Joseph Kahn of Warrensburg traveled off the roadway, striking a fence and a utility pole before coming to rest. Kahn received minor injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center by private vehicle for treatment.

50-year-old Knob Noster man involved in an accident Tuesday afternoon

At 4:20 Tuesday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway patrol reported a rollover accident on Northeast 900 Road East of Missouri Highway 23. The accident occurred according to the report as the 2001 Ford F-150 ran off the roadway, and overturned coming to rest on the driver’s side. There was no injury information included in the accident report.
