Here are your Sedalia Police crime reports and Missouri State Highway Patrol accident reports for September 28, 2012.

 

Sexual harassment filed by a female victim Thursday evening

At 6:42 Thursday evening, Sedalia police responded to the 700 block of East Broadway on a reported sexual harassment. Upon contact with the female victim, she told officers a suspect had grabbed her by the buttocks and groped it. The suspect then grabbed her leg and started rubbing it before she could get up from where she sat. The police report states the suspect had not yet been contacted.

 

Property damage complaint investigated in the 600 block of East 9th

A victim in the 600 block of East 9th reported his vehicle was damaged when someone scratched it all along one side. There was no information on a suspect at news time.

 

Saline County accident injures a Fulton man

Just before 5 o’clock Thursday afternoon, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a two-vehicle accident at mile marker 81.8 on Eastbound I-70 in Saline County. The accident occurred as the 2007 Toyota driven by 18-year-old Rachel DeMoss of Bates City overtook a 1997 Ford Crown Victoria driven by 23-year-old Zachery Keener of Fulton. Both vehicles received minor damage in the accident. There was only one injury reported and the victim, 20-year-old Brandi McDonald of Fulton, sought her own treatment for minor injuries.

 

Minor injuries reported in a Benton County accident Thursday morning

At 10:55 Thursday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a motorcycle accident on Highway 65 a tenth of a mile South of Day Road in Benton County.  According to the accident report, the accident occurred as the 2005 Harley Davidson Motorcycle driven by Ashley Robertson of Independence ran off the roadway and overturned, ejecting Robertson. The accident report states Robertson was not wearing safety equipment and received minor injuries.  She sought treatment on her own. The report also states charges are pending.
