Sedalia Police officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of South Harding Avenue, Thursday morning (Jan 26) in reference to a domestic assault. A female victim stated that she and her ex-lover got into a verbal fight and the suspect allegedly pushed her onto the couch. Officers later made contact with the male suspect and checked his information through dispatch. Information came back that the man had a warrant from the State of Kentucky for 1st Degree Sexual Abuse to a victim under 12 years of age. The suspect, 44-year-old Reuben J. Moore, was arrested for the warrant and also 4th Degree Assault and being a fugitive from justice. Moore was taken to the Pettis County Jail, with no bond.


Around 7:30 Thursday morning (Jan 26), officers conducted a subject check at Hardee's, located at 715 East Broadway. Two men in the area had warrants. 22-year-old Justin Robert Eugene Barrett was arrested for a Henry County FTA warrant. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $969.50 bond.

The other man, 26-year-old Michael Rader, had a Pettis County warrant for property damage with a bond of $3,500. Dispatch also advised that Rader had a warrant from the State of Wisconsin for substantial battery, with no bond. Rader was arrested for the warrants and also for possession of methamphetamine and being a fugitive from justice. He was placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.


Just before 8:00 Wednesday night (Jan 25), Sedalia Police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of West 16th Street and Thompson Blvd, on a Ford with a license plate that was checked to Chevrolet. Officers made contact with the driver and ran his information through dispatch. The driver, 22-year-old Juan Marcos Quetzecua, had a suspended license and a Pettis County FTA warrant. Quetzecua was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $250 cash bond.
