Around 10:50 Wednesday morning (August 24), Sedalia Police officers responded to the municipal court room, after being informed that the suspect was there, and had two active Pettis County warrants, for failure to appear. Officers arrested 20-year old Nathan MP Smith. He was booked at the Pettis County Jail with a cash bond set at $260.00.

Around 10:00 Wednesday morning (August 24), officers met with 5 individuals in the lobby of the Sedalia Police Station, in regards to an earlier disturbance.

One suspect had allegedly started cussing at the other. The 2nd suspect then, allegedly, threw a large soda at the 1st suspect. While identifyng everyone, dispatch confirmed that two people had warrants. After all information was obtained, the two people with warrants were arrested. The two subjects are:

  1. 29-year old Christopher Blanks was arrested for a Pettis County warrant, with a cash bond of $150.00.
  2. 27-year old Merra Zaveri was arrested for a Sedalia warrant, with a cash bond of $90.50.
