Just before 3:00 Monday afternoon (June 11), Sedalia Police officers noticed a man walking in the area of 13th Street and Massachusettes Avenue. He was known to have active outstanding warrants. Upon contact, officers ran the man's information through dispatch and two failure-to-appear warrants from Pettis County, were confirmed. 33-year old Melvin L. Ward was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond set at $10,000.00, cash or surety.

 

Just before 11:00 Tuesday morning (June 12), officers were informed that a man was hiding in a shed, behind a residence in the 3500 block of South Park Avenue. The man was wanted in Sedalia, Pettis County, and Benton County. Officers arrived and made contact with the suspect, identified as 32-year old Michael Paul Noble II. He was arrested for the failure-to-appear warrants and taken to the Pettis County Jail.
