Sedalia Police Department Crime Report for May 12, 2016

Around 11:40 yesterday morning (May 11th), Sedalia Police officers responded to 2120 East Broadway, which is Baker Auto and Trade, to investigate the theft of auto parts. The victim stated someone had stolen parts from vehicles on the lot, sometime overnight. The combined value of the missing parts was placed at $450.00. There are no suspects at this time.

Around 7:00 yesterday evening (May 11th), officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of South Sneed Avenue in reference to a disturbance. The male suspect had assaulted two females at the residence. He was also in possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers arrested 34-year old Kirk Alexander Riley for 3rd degree assault and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail, pending state charges.
