Sedalia Police Department Crime Report for May 4, 2016

Just before 1:00 yesterday afternoon (May 3rd), a motorist noticed that another driver was driving eratically on Broadway Blvd. Sedalia Police officers eventually caught-up with the vehicle in the area of Main Street and Park Avenue, and conducted a traffic-stop. The driver turned out to be intoxicated. Officers arrested 68-year old Gregory J. Padgett for the DWI. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail, pending state charges of DWI.

Around 6:40 yesterday morning (May 3rd), officers conducted a warrant check in the 1300 block of East 3rd Street. Contact was made with the subject and dispatch advised that she had 6 warrants from Pettis County. One warrant was for non-support of a child. Another warrant was for a probation violation. Four other warrants were for failure-to-appear, all for various infractions. Arrested at the scene was 26-year old Jasmine U. McCartney and taken to the Pettis County Jail. The total bond on all the warrants was $20,250.00.
