Thursday afternoon (July 21), Sedalia Police officers were dispatched to Kohl’s at 4300 Wisconsin Avenue, in regards to a theft report that had occurred on July 19th. Someone had stolen $325.00 worth of clothing. There were no further details listed in that report.

 

Around 7:30 Friday night (July 22), officers responded to the Russell Stover Store at 1021 South Limit, in reference to a physical assault/disturbance between a man and a woman. Upon officer’s arrival, the woman fled on foot. 25-year old Alisha Lynn Gaines was arrested a short time later and placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.

 

On Friday (July 22), officers responded to Break Time Convenience Store at 808 East Broadway, in reference to a theft. A man said his cell phone was stolen. Allegedly, the suspect officered to buy the phone, then grabbed the phone from the victim’s hands and ran away with it. There was no suspect listed in that report.

 

Around 1:20 Saturday morning (July 23), officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of West 18th Street for a reported disturbance between a father and son. An investigation revealed that the father was the primary aggressor. 46-year old Gary D. Prisendorf was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold, pending the state charges of Third Degree Domestic Assault.
