Sedalia Police Department Crime Report for the Evening of August 2, 2016

Around 1:00 Monday afternoon (August 1), Sedalia Police officers took a report at Cork and Bottle, located at 3806 West Broadway, of someone disposing of solid waste in the business’s dumpster. Video showed a customer pumping gas, than they emptied the entire load from their truck bed, into the dumpster, that belongs to Cork and Bottle. No suspect information was listed in that report.

Around 5:40 Sunday morning (July 31), someone damaged a vehicle that was parked in a parking lot in the 200 block of South Limit. Someone had allegedly kicked the panels on the truck, causing large dents. The victim estimated the damage at around $3,000.00. There are no suspects at this time.

Around 6:30 Monday evening (August 1), officers responded to the 900 block of East 13^th Street for a possible drug offence. A witness told dispatch that she found marijuana in the suspect’s laundry basket. Two other bags of marijuana were also found, hidden in the oven. 30-year old Erin R. Durrill was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail for possession of marijuana.
