On Tuesday evening (Feb 5), Sedalia Police responded to a verbal domestic dispute in the 1300 block of S. Ohio Ave. Officers discovered that one of the people involved, 43-year old Joseph J. Moore, had two active felony arrest warrants from Pettis County. Moore was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a total bond of $10,000.00.


On Monday afternoon (Feb 4), Sedalia Police responded to Wal-Mart for a theft report. Officers made contact with asset protection personnel, who stated a man stole items valued at $511.49. The suspect, 30-year old James W.  Dingus-Fague, of Sedalia, was arrested and placed on a twenty-four hold in the Pettis County Jail, pending the filing of charges.


On Tuesday (Feb 5), Sedalia Police took a theft report from victim, who stated that on Jan. 30, two subjects pulled up next to his truck while it was parked in a lot in the 2400 of S. Limit Ave. The subjects reportedly stole a generator that was stored in the bed of the truck. Video was recovered in the area but at this time, the suspects have not been identified. No further details were available in the report.


On Monday (Feb 4), Sedalia Police were dispatched to Par Electric, in the 100 block of S. Harding Ave. for a report of stealing. The complainant stated that sometime over the weekend, someone had taken $3,120 worth of tools from service truck parked in the parking lot. There are no suspects at this time.
