On Sunday (Jan 6), Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle with expired plates. During the stop, the driver was found to have an active FTA warrant from Miller County. The driver, 33-year old Christopher G. Stultz, of LaMonte, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail with a bond of $2,000.00.


On Saturday (Jan 5), Sedalia Police conducted a traffic stop on W. Main Street on a vehicle for not having working license plate lights. A computer check for one of the occupants revealed he had three active warrants for arrest. One warrant was for Probation Violation and two were FTA warrants from Cooper County for misdemeanor assault and Obstruction of Justice. The suspect, 47-year old Brian A. Anderson, of Sedalia, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail.


On Saturday (Jan 5), Sedalia Police responded to the 600 block of S. Moniteau Ave for a report of a vandalized vehicle. The victim estimated the damage at $2,000.00. There are no suspects at this time.
