Police say they discovered meth, illegal prescription pills and drug paraphernalia after a vehicle pursuit around 2:25 a.m. on November 18. Sedalia Police stopped a vehicle at 4th and Osage for violating two stop signs. While issuing tickets, a K9 officer alerted to the vehicle. The driver then fled. Police report that he was throwing items out of the vehicle as they pursued. 40-year-old Joseph Eugene Whitlow was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail.

On November 21 officers with the Sedalia Police Department responded to Casey's on South Limit to investigate a stolen vehicle. The vehicle's owner said that it was stolen from the parking lot while he was inside the store. The vehicle was later located by the Pettis County Sheriff's Department. The vehicle was damaged after a pursuit with deputies that ended in a pond. No suspects have been identified.

Police were called just before midnight to the 1300 block of East 4th Street to investigate a burglary on November 21. A homeowner reported that his house had been ransacked while he was away, and that a cell phone and digital camera had been taken. Police say there were no signs of forced entry at the residence.

An 18-year-old Hughesville man was arrested for driving while suspended, resisting arrest, trespassing and being a minor in possession of alcohol, after officers attempted to stop his vehicle which they say was driving erratically. Police say that Villiam Izoita parked in a driveway, then ran into a residence and out the back door. Police arrested Izoita after a short foot pursuit.
