Around 3:00 Friday morning (Sept 30), Sedalia Police officers responded to the 500 block of West 3rd Street to take a report of theft. The victim reported that sometime between September 23rd and September 30th, an "interstate" marine battery had been stolen from his boat. The value of the battery is placed at $85.00.

 

Around 1:40 Friday afternoon (Sept 30), officers took a report of property damage. The complainant stated someone broke out a window and stole copper wiring from a building in the 200 block of North Mill Street. The complainant stated the building is owned by Pettis County. There were no further details listed in that report.

 

Around 11:45 Tuesday morning (Sept 27), officers responded to Clarendon Road, near the Katy Trail, for a report of a head-on collision. One of the drivers showed signs of impairment and had been involved in another collision 30 minutes earlier. 23-year old Trevor R. Leary was arrested driving while intoxicated. He was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center for a consented blood draw. An investigation of the vehicle revealed a substance believed to be THC budder and a vapor pen, with residue inside. Charges of DWI - involving drugs, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia are being sought.
