Sedalia Police Department Crime Reports for September 9, 2016

Just after 3:30 Friday morning (Sept 9), Sedalia Police officers conducted a traffic stop near East 7^th Street and South Emmet Avenue, for a vehicle that had defective rear license plate lights. An investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. 39-year old Crystal Gail Vansel, of Smithton, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.

On Thursday (Sept 8), officers were dispatched to the Parole and Probation office for a male subject with a Pettis County warrant, for assault. 48-year old Patrick Neil Kreisel was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond set at $1,500.00 cash or surety.

On Thursday (Sept 8), officers took a theft report in the 1900 block of South Limit. The victim stated his scooter had been stolen, from the 1600 block of West 11^th Street. The estimated value of the scooter is placed at $650.00. There are no suspects at this time.
