Sedalia Police officers were dispatched to the 700 block of East 5th Street Wednesday afternoon (Dec 28), for a reported disturbance. According to the incident report, as officers approached the front door, a woman and child were heard screaming, inside the house. Officers pulled the front door open and made entry. A man was kneeling next to the female victim. The man admitted to causing marks on the woman's face and grabbing her around the neck. 36-year old James V. Ingram was arrested for 2nd Degree Domestic Assault, and taken to the Pettis County Jail.

 

Around 10:45 Wednesday morning (Dec 28), officers conducted a traffic-stop for a vehicle with expired plates. The driver's information was checked through dispatch, and a Pettis County FTA warrant was confirmed. The driver, 24-year old Ryan Matthew Weisner, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a bond of $5,000.00, cash or surety.

 

Around 1:15 Thursday afternoon (Dec 29), Sedalia Police officers conducted a warrant check in the 1100 block of South Harding Avenue. The male subject had a Pettis County warrant for possession of a controlled substance, DWI, and not wearing a seat belt. 33-year old Raymond Lee Shaumeyer was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $7,500.00 bond, cash or surety.

 

Sedalia Police officers took a report of stolen vehicle Wednesday afternoon (Dec 28), in the 1700 block of South Harrison Avenue. The vehicle is described as a gray, 2011 Ford Escape. The estimated value of the vehicle was placed at $12,500.00. There were no further details listed in that report.
