Around 4:45 Sunday morning (Feb 19), Sedalia Police officers responded to the 800 block of East 4th Street in reference to a disturbance. Officers noticed the victim was bleeding from scratches on his neck. The victim stated he had an argument with his girlfriend and during the argument, she scratched him on the neck. The suspect, 24-year-old Kalah D. Lindsey was arrested for 3rd Degree Domestic Assault.


Just before 4:00 Sunday morning (Feb 19), officers responded to Denny's, located at 2401 West Broadway, for a disturbance. Officers found several subjects fighting in the business. The subjects were detained and identified. However, one man provided false information. Officers arrested the man, 23-year-old Rodriguez Edgar Lemus, of LaMonte, for identity theft. Lemus was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released, pending state charges.


Around 10:00 Sunday night (Feb 19), officers responded to the 600 block of East 5th for a reported burglary. The victim stated the suspect is the father of her child. The suspect allegedly came into the residence without permission and assaulted the woman. The suspect had not been located at the time of the report and no further information was listed.


On Saturday (Feb 18), officers responded to the 200 block of East 2nd Street in reference to a domestic assault. Allegedly, both a man and woman had choked each other. A witness also stated he saw the woman break a truck windshield with a skateboard. The man, 21-year-old Jonathan Lee Paul Perry, was arrested for 3rd Degree Domestic Assault. The woman, 19-year-old Adrianna R. Martin, was arrested for 3rd Degree Domestic Assault and property damage. Both subjects were placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.
