Sedalia Police officers were dispatched to the 400 block of North Mill Street around 3:00 Tuesday morning (Jan 3), in regards to a disturbance. It was determined that the suspect had hit the victim in the face. The suspect, 34-year old Marvin Anthony Smith, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail, pending state charges of 3rd Degree Domestic Assault.

 

Around 1:20 Tuesday morning (Jan 3), Sedalia police officers conducted a traffic stop in the area of South Moniteau and West Broadway Blvd, for a vehicle that had expired plates. The driver’s information was relayed to dispatch and came back with an active Sedalia Municipal FTA warrant for a traffic violation. The driver, 20-year old Dante E. Walker, was arrested and taken to the Pettis County Jail, with a $50.00 cash bond.

 

Around 11:50 Monday night (Jan 2), officers conducted a subject-check at McDonalds, located at 3101 West Broadway. While officers spoke with the subject, it was determined that he was highly intoxicated and could not take care of himself. The subject, 36-year old Brent A. Gemes, was placed on a 24-hour Protective Custody hold in the Pettis County Jail.

 

Around 11:30 Monday night (Jan 2), officer conducted a traffic stop near West Broadway Blvd and South Moniteau Avenue. The driver had a suspended license. The driver, 24-year old Roberto Hernandez Lopez, was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold in the Pettis County Jail.
