Just after 11:00 in the morning on March 30th, Sedalia Police officers were dispatched to the 200 block of West Broadway in reference to a male and female subjects arguing. Contact was made with the subjects in a nearby parking lot, but the suspects attempted to walk away from the officer. The male subject was told to keep his hand out of his pockets but he refused and he said something about having a weapon. The officer attempted to handcuff the male suspect but he ran. When asked, the female stated she did not know the male’s full name. It was eventually that the two suspects’ lived together, however. The male was eventually taken into custody by other officers. 26-year old Timothy Linell Peck was arrested for failing to disobey a law enforcement officer and for resisting arrest. The female suspect, identified as Shereese Deon Harper, was also arrested for interfering with an arrest. Both were taken to the Pettis County Jail.

 

 

On March 31st, officers took a report of property damage that had occurred in the 2600 block of Wing Avenue. Sometime overnight, someone had entered the victim’s vehicle while it was parked outside his residence. The screen to the CD player had been cracked and the rear-view mirror had been pulled off the windshield. The total value of the damage was placed at about $200.00. No further details were listed in that police report.
