Just before 1:00 Thursday morning (Aug 17), Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 2000 block of W. 14th Street in reference to a burglary. According to the report, the garage door was open approximately halfway and the victim's driving license was missing from her purse. A window screen was also reportedly cut open at the residence. There were no further details listed in that report.


On Wednesday (Aug 16), Sedalia Police took a theft report in the 1300 block of S. Osage Ave. The victim said a package delivered by the U.S.P.S. had been taken from the front porch of the residence on August 5. According to the report, the seller had confirmed the shipment and delivery of the package. The value of the package was placed at $24.87. There were no other details listed in that report.


On Wednesday (Aug 16), Sedalia Police responded to the 1200 block of E. 18th Street for a theft report. The complainant said a laptop computer was missing from the residence. The computer was valued at approximately $500. No further information was listed in the report.
