33-year-old woman faces multiple charges including kidnapping

At 7:18pm Monday night Sedalia Police were dispatched to the 100 block of West Pacific Avenue on a disturbance. Upon arrival officers made contact with two women involved in the disturbance. Following an investigation police arrested 33-year-old Andreya Lea Keith of Sedalia was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail where she was placed on 24-hour hold pending state charges. The police report states Keith faces charges of felonious restraint, kidnapping, and 2nd degree assault.

18-year-old Sedalia man  in jail on $60,000 bond

Around 6:12 Monday evening Sedalia Police arrested Anthony Wayne Medrano of Sedalia for a failure to appear warrant. At the time of the police report Medrano was in the Pettis County Jail pending a $60,000 bond.

Woman arrested on a Pettis County warrant following a traffic stop

Just after 8pm Monday night Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance with weapons at a residence in the 700 block of East 5th. Upon arrival the suspect had reportedly left the area in a maroon vehicle. The police report states a vehicle matching the description of the vehicle was stopped later, and during the investigation a female suspect with a Pettis County Warrant was found to be an occupant of the vehicle. Arrested at the scene was 25-year-old Laura Lee-Ann Martin of Sedalia. Martin was taken to the Pettis County Jail pending a 2500 bond. The police report stated the occupants of the vehicle were found to not be involved in the earlier disturbance.

Man arrested for driving while intoxicated following a rollover accident

At 11:25 Monday night Sedalia Police investigated a roll over accident in the area of Truman Inn 3501 West Broadway. Upon arrival the driver was already out of the vehicle, and did not complain of any injuries. During an investigation the officers determined the driver, 25-year-old Eric T. Johnson was intoxicated. The police report also states marijuana was found in the vehicle. Johnson was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail pending a $1067 bond.

Sedalia Police are called to a home in Sedalia along with Child Safe

Around 11:30 Monday morning Sedalia Police were dispatched to a residence in the 500 block of State Fair Blvd. on a child investigation. Upon arrival officers met with a worker with Child Safe. The mother of the child told the officers the child injured herself after she recently stopped breast feeding her. The police report states Child Safe placed the mother on a safe plan, and plans to investigate the family later.

Woman reports her son missing around noon on Monday

Just after 12pm Monday afternoon a woman in the 200 block of South Osage reported her son was missing. When KSIS checked Tuesday the boy had been located and returned home.

Woman reports being robbed Monday afternoon

At 1:22pm Monday afternoon Sedalia Police took a theft complaint from a woman at the American Inn Hotel at 1217 South Limit. According to the victim an unknown man robbed her. There was no information on what the robber took, and there was no information on a possible suspect at the time of the police report.

Thieves steal a temporary tag and a $100 bill from a mans vehicle

Monday morning a male victim came to the police station to report thefts from his vehicle. According to the victim someone entered his vehicle in the 150 block of East 13th and stole his temporary tag, and a $100 bill from the glove box. There were no suspects.

An unspecified Christmas Decoration was reportedly stolen from a residence in the 40 block of South Grand Monday afternoon.
