Sedalia Police & Pettis County Crime Reports for Feb. 2

SPD crime reports 2-2-17

A citizen turned in a gun magazine with a small amount of ammunition to Sedalia Police on Wednesday. The report said the citizen found the items in a dumpster. The magazine and ammo was placed into evidence.

Police took a report from Break Time, 2801 W. Broadway, involving an unknown subject who left the store without paying for a 12-pack of alcohol on Wednesday. The 12-pack was valued at $15.29. An investigation is ongoing.

Pettis County deputies arrested Matthew C. Crain of Sedalia on a Jasper County warrant on Wednesday just after 3 a.m. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $200 cash-only bond.

Deputies took a harassment compliant in the 22000 block of Smasal Road on Tuesday afternoon. Investigation is ongoing.
