Two people were arrested by Sedalia Police after conducting a traffic stop on a white Mercury at 3rd and Engineer at 7:20 p.m. Tuesday. The driver, 27-year-old Nathan W. Green, was wanted on two probation violations out of Pettis County (a $4,000 cash bond and a $5,000 cash or surety bond), and was also found to be with driving while suspended. Green was also wanted on a no-bond parole violation. His passenger, 28-year-old Ambur N. Hendricks of Sedalia was charged with felony possession of marijuana, distribution of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were taken to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 29-year-old Thomas J. McIntyre of Sedalia after he allegedly caused moderate damage to a house at 1204 S. Washington early Tuesday morning around 2 a.m. According to a report, McIntyre was the driver of a pickup that was westbound when he drove through a yard and struck the house. The driver then fled on foot and was chased by a witness. McIntyre was located two blocks from the scene. Investigation revealed he was driving while intoxicated. He was also charged with leaving the scene of an accident. A search warrant was then obtained from the court to draw blood on the suspect.


Sedalia Police arrested two men after responding to a disturbance at Mazzio's Pizzza, 1613 S. Limit, at 6 p.m. Tuesday. Taken into custody was 20-year-old Anthony Peter Torgayev of Sedalia, and 19-year-old Luybeem Vyacheslavic Sidlinskiy of Pettis County. Torgayev was charged with peace disturbance and assault, while Sidlinskiy was charged with minor in possession of alcohol and peace disturbance.


 

On Wednesday at 2:17 a.m. Sedalia Police took a theft report from Brandon Lee Ellsworth, who said someone stole his brown 1998 Olds Bravada from the 800 block of W. 3rd. The vehicle was described as having a loose headlight held in place with plastic straps, and a driver's door held in place with bungee cords. A search of the area by police yielded nothing. There was no value placed on the brown Bravada.


 

21-year-old Jessica Lea Reed was placed on a 12-hour protective custody hold following an investigation by Sedalia Police into a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of E. 7th around 3 a.m. Wednesday morning.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 33-year-old Joseph Adam Markes of Marshall after conducting a subject check on a pedestrian at 13th and Massachusetts at 2:12 a.m. Thursday morning. Markes was wanted on two Lafayette County warrants (traffic). He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $642.50 cash bond.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 49-year-old William Charles Mulcrone of Sedalia, after a car stop near 24th and Clinton Road for no license plates. His vehicle was towed and Mulcrone was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released with an Oct. 17 court date.


 

Hibbett Sports, 3115 W. Broadway, reported that a female ran from the store around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday with $30 of merchandise, setting off the store's security system.


 

Staples, 3601 W. Broadway, reported that a juvenile took several items into the restroom, opened the packaging and attempted to leave the store without paying for the items on ednesday evening around 7:15. The juvenile was later identified and released to parents.
