Police reports for July 15, 2016

Sedalia Police arrested Edgar Alfonso Gonzalez Perez, 21, Sedalia, for Driving While Intoxicated, leaving the scene of an accident and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license after an accident that occurred near Liberty Park. Witnesses told police the suspect was eastbound on Third from Highway 65, traveling faster than the posted speed limit when he struck a parked vehicle, then a telephone pole. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.

Benjamin Michael John Wilson, 33, Kansas City, was arrested for Failure to Appear-misdemeanor on a Morgan County warrant Thursday. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $300 cash bond for an original charge of speeding.

Koehen Leath Isenberg, 22, Sedalia, was arrested for violation of an ex parte after he was found in the complainant's home on Thursday afternoon. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail for a 24-hour hold.

Police took reports of hit-and-run accidents that happened overnight: 1400 block of S. Sneed with damage to the driver's rear quarter panel, causing $1,000 damage. A red Ford Escape had damage to the passenger rear quarter panel. A vehicle had damage to the passenger side bumper in the 2300 block of E. 12th between 7 p.m. Wednesday and 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Police took a theft report in the 1900 block of S. Lamine Thursday. A garage was broken into and a shop vac valued at $50, and a lawn mower valued at $350 were missing. The shop vac was later found behind the victim's home. The theft occurred between 3 p.m. Wednesday and 10 a.m. Thursday.

The Sedalia Youth Center, 420 W. 16th, reported a break-in Thursday. A window was shattered on the west side of the business, causing $2,000 of damage. Nothing was taken, according to the report. There are no suspects.

Police took a report of a stolen car dolly taken from a parking lot overnight in the 700 block of W. Main. There is video of the theft that is being examined.
