Sedalia Police reports 7-28-16

On Wednesday at 1:22 a.m., Sedalia Police arrested Aaron Michael Weller, 23, Sedalia, for Leaving the Scene of an Accident after officers responded to McDonald's, 3101 W. Broadway, on a reported disturbance. Officers made contact with the subject, who said his vehicle broke down. It was later determined he had crashed his car into a curb on Thompson Blvd. Weller was transported to the Pettis County Jail overnight. No court date or bond info was available at the time of the report.

Police responded to a disturbance in the 1000 block of S. Grand on Wednesday morning, where allegations were made that a 30-year-old man had sex with a 15-year-old girl in the 24000 block of 765 Highway. The info was forwarded to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office for further investigation, the report said.

David R. Shull, 39, was arrested for Failure to Appear Upon Arrest or Summons after he turned himself in at the Sedalia Police Station on an original charge of stealing. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $150 bond and a court date of Aug. 3.

John Ray Hicks, III, 32, Sedalia, was arrested for 3rd Degree Domestic Assault and 2nd Degree Property Damage after Sedalia Police responded to a report of a disturbance at the residence. Hicks was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Police took a report of a stolen bike on Wednesday. Taken was a white 16-inch Huffy bicycle, valued at $90. It was stolen between 6 and 9 p.m. July 26.
