Police reports for July 5, 2016

Sedalia Police responded to a one-vehicle crash at 16th and Kentucky on Monday at 11:15 a.m. when a man turned to go north on Kentucky from eastbound 16th and struck a “no parking” sign, then hit a tree. The 2001 Ford Escape had major front-end damage and the rear passenger door, but the man said he was not injured.

Joshua Ray Smith, 32, Sedalia, was arrested on a Benton County warrant Monday night. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a $50,000 bond cash or surety.

Dylan Wesley Landon, 28, homeless, and Clarissa Jean Landon, 28, was arrested for Fraudulent Use of a Credit Device. On June 5, Sedalia Police took a a theft report a Comfort Inn, 3600 W. Broadway. Video from the Sedalia Wal-Mart identified a male and female who admitted to stealing a purse and credit card from Comfort Inn, and using it at Wal-Mart. Both were transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $5,000 bond, case or surety.

Aullnie LE Colvin, 40, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended or Revoked after a traffic stop for expired plates at Pettis and Moniteau on July 1. Colvin was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with a court date of Aug. 10.

A warrant check resulted in the arrest of Art Wonderful Williams, 52, Sedalia, on July 1. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a $1,500 bond cash or surety.

Maurice Harper, 40, Sedalia, was arrested near 6th and Osage Saturday on a Pettis County warrant. Bond was set at $3,500.

Elena Garcia Hickman, 49, was arrested for Failure to Appear upon arrest or summons on July 2 after police responded to a report of an intoxicated woman going from house to house, knocking on doors. She was found sitting in a chair on a porch in the 800 block of E. Third. She was wanted on an original charge of peace disturbance and open container. Bond was set at $90.50.

Jordan David Roberts, 20, Sedalia, was arrested on a Pettis County warrant after a traffic stop at 10th and Kentucky Saturday night. Police discovered he had no vehicle registration. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a $150 cash bond.

Kaylee N. Waite, 24, Warsaw, was arrested Sunday just at 1 a.m. for Failure to Appear upon arrest or summons. She was transported from the Johnson County Line to the Pettis County Jail with a court date of Aug. 17 and a $200 cash bond.

Patrico Reyes-Gomez, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended or Revoked Sunday morning after he allegedly ran a stop sign at 16th and Devin. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with an Aug. 10 court date.

Tamara Kay Henderson, 34, Sedalia, was arrested for Failure to Appear-misdemeanor at 5th and Brown on an active Pettis County warrant. She has a court date of July 19 and bond was set at $150.

Leroy Dwane Schumaker, 19, Sedalia, was arrested for possession of marijuana after a traffic stop at 14th and Engineer on Sunday night. He has a court date of July 20.

Danielle L. Paige, 34, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended or Revoked after a traffic violation that occurred at Saline and Engineer Sunday night. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a $533.50 bond and a court date of Aug. 17.

Stephen Wayne Hernandez, 42, Otterville, was arrested by Sedalia Police at 1:36 a.m. Monday after a traffic stop at Broadway and Limit. He was found to be Driving While Suspended or Revoked. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released.

Angela Ilene Teeter, 37, Sedalia, was arrested for Failure to Appear-misdemeanor after a subject check in the 200 block of E. Howard. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a $150 bond and a court date of July 12.

Dierre M. Robinson, 32, was arrested for Driving While Suspended or Revoked after a traffic stop at Broadway and Carr on Saturday at 1:13 a.m. Robinson was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a $533.50 cash or surety and a court date of Aug. 1.

William I. Howe, 30, Sedalia, was arrested for Identity Theft, Driving While Suspended or Revoked, Failure to Appear-felony (Independence) and a warrant after a traffic stop at 12th and Ware, for failure to secure his rear license plate. Howe allegedly gave Sedalia Police a false name and he had no ID on him.

Ruben G. Hernandez, 25, Sedalia, was arrested for assault on Saturday night. He has a court date of Sept. 4.

A property damage report was taken Friday in the 1500 block of S. Stewart involving a vehicle that had $400 of damage done to it. There are no suspects in the case.

Police took a theft report involving a residence in the 1700 block of S. Grand that was entered. A black Walther .380 pistol was stolen between 7 p.m. On July 2 and 1 p.m. July 3.

A 16-inch multi-colored Mongoose Nightmare was located behind a dumpster in the 100 block of E. Broadway on July 3 and placed into found property.

A bike was stolen from a front porch in the 300 block of E. Cooper on July 1, valued at $550. There are no suspects.

A front license plate was removed from a white “95 Dodge van parked in front of Bethel Church in the 100 block of E. 5th, it was reported on Sunday. The missing plate number was UE4-P6X.

Sedalia Police took a a property damage report Friday morning. Blue paint was sprayed on a truck window in the 900 block of S. Harrison, causing $100 of damage. The incident occurred between 7 p.m. June 29 and 4:45 p.m. June 30. There are no suspects.

Sedalia Police assisted Pettis County deputies with a combative female who kicked out a deputy's patrol car window Monday night. She was later restrained and transported to the Pettis County Jail.
