Police reports for June 29, 2016

Early Wednesday morning, Sedalia Police arrested Kevin D. Gaither, 22, Sedalia, was arrested for 3rd degree Domestic Assault after police responded to a report of a physical disturbance on the 700 block of E. 4th. The male and female were engaged in a verbal argument when officers arrived. Police noticed the female victim had a head injury, and the male suspect was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold. The victim was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center via PCAD for medical treatment.

Anthony Terrell Jones, 27, homeless, was arrested for Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Unlawful Use of a Concealed Weapon Wednesday morning around 2:20 a.m. Police responded to the 400 block of Albright Cout and observed an intoxicated man who had a handgun in his possession, which he tried to discard, the report said. Jones was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24-hour hold.

Dylan R. Reed, 19, Sedalia, was arrested for Failure to Appear upon arrest
or summons after a traffic stop at 4th and New York on Monday afternoon. Police observed Reed speeding and rolling through a stop sign. He was wanted on a Municipal warrant. He was also issued a citation for speeding. Bond was set at $90.50 with a court date of Aug. 17.

Police took a property damage report Thursday involving four flat tires on the victim's vehicle in the 900 block of S. Kentucky. The incident occurred between 6:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. June 23.

On Tuesday, W-K Chevrolet reported the theft of a license plate from a vehicle parked near the body shop over the past week. There are no suspects.

Police took a report of a gas drive-off at Cork 'n Bottle, 3806 E. Broadway, for $36 that occurred Saturday, and a drive-off at Casey's, 3050 S. Limit, for $70 that occurred on Tuesday. The suspect vehicle in that incident was a 2002 blue Dodge Caravan with Missouri license YG7-U5B.

A Sedalia woman reported the unauthorized use of her debit card Monday. The purchase was made in Kansas City in the amount of $540.89.
