Sedalia Police reports 3-9-18

Sedalia Police arrested 25-year-old Cassandra L. Eckhoff of Sedalia after police were dispatched to a disturbance to 18th and Harrison at 12:53 p.m. Thursday. Police located the couple and conducted a warrant check on the female. She was found to have four active warrants. She was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail. The male had no warrants and was released from the scene.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 47-year-old Victoria Belen Strohm of Sedalia after officers conducted a traffic stop on a white Pontiac at Main and Prospect at 10:58 p.m. Thursday. According to a report, the Pontiac was bearing license plates belonging to a Nissan. The diver, Strohm, was wanted on a Municipal warrant for a trafic offense. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $50 bond with a March 14 court date.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 39-year-old Erik M. Elkins of Sedalia after officers were called to 1216 Liberty Park Blvd., at 9:18 a.m. Thursday on a report of two subjects throwing trash all over the yard. Upon arrival, the subjects were in the process of cleaning it up. The victim said she wanted to pursue charges. Elkins, as well as 31-year-old Steven D. Owens of Sedalia, were each issued a summons for littering. Owens was also charged with identity theft. According to the report, Owens lied to police about his identity. He was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 33-year-old Kari Mae Robinson of Sedalia for Driving While Suspended after an officer conducted a traffic stop at 120 E. 16th on a maroon Dodge Durango at 1:14 p.m. Thursday. Robinson was wanted for Driving While Suspended. She now has an April 18 court date.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 34-year-old Ashley Lynn Liebe of Sedalia for Driving While Suspended after conducting a traffic stop on a white Buick at Grand Magnolia at 12:36 a.m. Friday. She now has an April 14 court date.


 

On Thursday afternoon, a woman reported that between Feb. 19 and March 8, someone stole her stereo system and speaker box valued at $600, as well as both license plates (SR8-G0X) from her vehicle while it was at a s hop at 702 W. Main. There are no suspects.


 

On Thursday afternoon a woman reported a hit-and-run that occurred between 10 p.m. Wednesday and 12 p.m. Thursday at 1809 S. Kentucky. The suspect vehicle appears to be white in color, and possibly a van, pickup or SUV.


 

On Thursday, a man reported the theft of his motorcycle from the 1500 block of S. Osage. According to a report, a man from Nevada showed up at his residence on Tuesday wanting to buy his motorcycle. The owners stepped inside his house for five minutes, and when he returned, the motorcycle and the man from Nevada were gone. The motorcycle was valued at $2,000.


 

On Wednesday, Casey's, 1909 W. Main, reported that someone attempted to pay for their fuel with a fake $20 bill. There is one suspect in the case.


 

On Thursday morning just before 7:30, Casey's, 3050 S. Limit, reported the theft of 12 gallons of fuel, in the amount of $27.46. There are no suspects.
