Sedalia Police Reports 11-4-16

On Monday, Oct. 31 just before 11 p.m., Alexis Gasper reported getting shot with a paintball gun in the 300 block of W. 4th Street. Officers observed a red mark on her neck, the report said. A witness said a suspect drove a newer model Kia. Also, another resident's car was shot by a paintball. There are no suspects in the case.

Christopher L. Hill, 34, Sedalia, was arrested on eight charges Wednesday evening on the 1200 block of E. 3rd Street. Sedalia Police were on routine patrol when two males were observed arguing in a vehicle. A computer check revealed the car was stolen on Oct. 22. A subsequent search of the vehicle revealed a loaded weapon under the driver's seat. The weapon was also reported stolen on Oct. 23. Also found in the vehicle was marijuana, controlled substances and other illegal weapons. Hill was charged with two counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of a Concealable Weapon, Possession of an Imitation Controlled Drug, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Receiving Stolen Property ($150 or more). Hill was transported to the Pettis County Jail, while the 2nd male was released with no charges.

Shelby Welch, 25, was arrested after officers responded to a burglary in progress in the 800 block of W. 5th on Thursday. One of the subjects at the residence (Welch) had an active probation violation warrant and she was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $10,000 bond, cash or surety.
Dakota J. Marcos, 17, and Ana Marie Marcos, 18, both of Sedalia, were arrested at 1:33 a.m. Wednesday morning after a traffic stop near 6th and Massachusetts for no front plate on the vehicle. Dakota was the driver and was charged with Possession of Marijuana and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $533.50 bond, while Ana, the passenger was wanted on a Municipal warrant and was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $90.50 bond. Their court date is Dec. 7.

Lidarrin Kwqtreal Grant, 25, Sedalia, was arrested for Failure to Appear Upon Arrest or Summons after a traffic stop at Broadway and Kentucky Wednesday. Grant was wanted on a Municipal warrant and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $90.50 cash bond. He was also arrested and charged with 2nd degree Property Damage for shooting paintballs at a building in the 300 block of W. 6th Street. Grant has a court date of Nov. 16.

Justin Wayne Cochran, 30, homeless, was arrested on a parole violation warrant near 7th and Osage Wednesday. After he was approached by police, Cochran took off running and after a short foot pursuit, was apprehended and taken into custody. Once the warrant was confirmed, he was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a 24 hour. He was also charged with resisting arrest. No bond was issued.

Billy Joe Hill, 38, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended after a traffic stop on a Dodge truck near 9th and Hancock just before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday. His court date and bond were to be announced.

Robert E. Mrazek, 26, Sedalia, was arrested in the 1000 block of W. 3rd Street Thursday morning on a parole violation, no-bond warrant. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail.

Malik Antonio Sistrunck, 18, Sedalia, was arrested near 6th and Kentucky for Failure to Appear-Misdemeanor, after he was contacted by an officer for standing in the middle of the street Wednesday afternoon. A computer check revealed a Pettis County warrant. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $10 cash bond and a court date of Nov. 29.

Elizabeth A. Brown, 37, Sedalia, was arrested and charged with 1st degree Burglary and 3rd degree Assault after Sedalia Police responded to a burglary in the 100 block of E. Main Wednesday night. The victim in the report said that Brown forced her way into her residence and business and a physical altercation ensued. The suspect allegedly hit the victim 4 or 5 times on the head. Both had lacerations on their arms from a broken window. Brown was transported to the Bothwell Regional Health Center ER, then to the Pettis County Jail.

Skiler Marie Holbert, 29, was arrested for 1st degree Trespassing, two Pettis County warrants and Resisting Arrest after an incident at the Bothwell Regional Health Center ER Thursday night. According to the report, Holbert was trying to leave the hospital without letting staff remove the IV in her arm. A brief struggle ensued and police were called. The IV was later removed, but then Holbert refused to leave. She was taken into custody and transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $160 bond.

Ahmad Jamal Dupree, 24, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended and also on a Pettis County probation violation warrant after a traffic stop on a Ford near 9th and Warren around 10:20 p.m. Thursday for non-working rear license plate lights. Dupree was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $300 bond. A court date is to be announced.

Angelica M. Bougher, 20, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended after a traffic stop on a red Gran Prix near Broadway and Warren Monday evening. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail, booked and released with a court date of Dec. 7.

Tamara Kay Henderson, 35, Sedalia, was arrested at Howard and Engineer after a traffic stop for a headlamp out around 11:30 p.m. Friday. She was charged with Driving While Suspended. She was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a court date of Dec. 7.

Chandra Joy Ford, 18, Sedalia, and Savannah Stetzenbach, 19, Cole Camp, were arrested for Walking in the Street When Sidewalks Were Available near 13th and Wagner at 1:10 a.m. Friday morning. They have a court date of Nov. 16.

Sara Williams, 26, Eldon, was arrested for Failure to Appear-Misdemeanor on a Pettis County warrant on Wednesday.

Dennis Houk of Sedalia reported the theft of a sliver and black .40 caliber Smith & Wesson handgun from an unlocked vehicle in the 3100 block of S. Stewart Wednesday morning. The gun was valued at $500. Houk is seeking prosecution.

Jayla Gilbertson of Sedalia reported the theft of medications from her vehicle, which was parked in her driveway overnight between 12 and 7:20 a.m. Wednesday in the 800 block of Brentwood Ave.

A black Ford Explorer was reported stolen Oct. 28, then found 30 minutes later abandoned near 107 N. Missouri. The vehicle had apparently sideswiped a utility pole in the area, causing a power outage. There is no suspect information in the case.

Teresa S. Freuck reported damage to her 2001 Ford Windstar while it was parked overnight in the 1600 block of E. 10th Wednesd morning. There are no suspects.

Three vehicles were broken into in the 2100 block of S. Missouri overnight Wednesday. Taken were prescription pills and a hunting knife. There are no suspects.
