Sedalia Police arrested 18-year-old Pedro Ramirez, Jr., after a warrant check in the 700 block of South State Fair Blvd., on Friday evening. Ramirez was wanted on a Municipal warrant with a $150 cash or surety bond. He also lied about his identity, and was charged with ID theft. He now has a court date of Sept. 15.


 

On Saturday, George Hill II, reported the theft of a backpack containing fishing gear from his porch in the 1100 block of E. 7th. The theft occurred between 12 and 7 p.m. Sept. 1.


26-year-old Bryan A. McGraw was arrested at 19th and Winchester Sunday morning and charged with trespassing in the 1200 block of Deseret. According to a report, he was the daughter's boyfriend. He was booked and released.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 22-year-old Cristian Rodriguez at the Mo-Ag Theater on the Missouri State Fairgrounds Saturday around 11 p.m. on a Municipal warrant. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $100 cash bond. Rodriguez now has a Sept. 17 court date.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 44-year-old Jesse W. Smith of Ionia for driving while suspended after a traffic stop on a black Chevy Blazer at 24th and Kentucky Sunday morning around 10:30. Smith was taken to the Pettis County Jail, where he was booked and released with an Oct. 31 court date.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 48-year-old Kimberly Ann Esser after a traffic stop at 2:31 a.m. in the 3800 block of South Limit Saturday morning. She was wanted on a Marshall warrant for stealing. Esser was transported to the Saline County line for extradition.


 

Casey's General Store, 3050 S. Limit, reported a $43.13 gas drive-off that occurred Saturday around 10 a.m. involving the theft of a little over 17 gallons of fuel. The suspect's license info was given to Sedalia Police. Charges are being pursued.


 

Sedalia Police arrested 35-year-old Kristain Jeanette Ford of Sedalia in the 1000 block of W. 3rd after conducting a warrant check Friday shortly after 8 p.m. Ford was wanted for a Municipal traffic offense. She was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $100 cash or surety bond.


 

On Friday evening at 12th and Osage, Sedalia Police arrested 21-year-old Austin Christopher Davis of Sedalia after conducting a traffic stop for no front license plate. Davis was a passenger in the vehicle who was wanted on a Municipal warrant for a traffic offense. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $100 bond. He now has a Sept. 5 court date.


 

18-year-old Marcelo Fernando of Sedalia was arrested after police conducted a warrant check in the 600 block of E. 10th Friday around 7 p.m. She was wanted on a Municipal warrant for a traffic offense. Fernando was taken to the Pettis County Jail on a $100 bond. She now has a Sept. 15 court date.
