SPD crime reports 2-3-17

Sedalia Police arrested Mark Anthony Paxton, 51, Sedalia, on a Parole Violation (for assault) just before 11 a.m. Thursday and transported him to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked. He was being held on a $2,000 cash bond and a $2,500 surety bond.

Michael L. Byerly reported to police on Thursday that someone attempted to open an account with a phone service he didn't belong to. And the suspect attempted delivery of three phones, but the transaction didn't take place, according to the report. There are no suspects.

Amon Wade Vaughan, 37, Sedalia, was arrested by Sedalia Police for Parole Violation (larceny) and a Morgan County warrant (traffic) at Saline and Emmet on Thursday afternoon. He was taken to the Pettis County Jail where he was booked.
