Sedalia Police Reports for the Afternoon of March 20, 2017
SPD crime reports 3-20-17
Katy Motors, 4211 S. Limit, reported that between 5:30 and 11:30 p.m. Friday, someone broke out the driver's window on a 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander while it was parked on the lot, causing $150 in damage. There are no suspects.
Steven Russell Johnson, 39, Sedalia, was arrested after Sedalia Police responded to a disturbance in the 1000 block of E. Broadway Sunday. Johnson was wanted on a warrant for Failure to Appear-misdemeanor. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail on a $160 bond.
Jimmy Dean Garcia, 29, Sedalia, was arrested on a Municipal warrant for a traffic charge at 13th and Kentucky on Sunday evening. He was transported to the Pettis County Jail with a $50 bond.
Amanda N. Fogel, 29, Eldon, was arrested for possession of Marijuana and drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop Sunday night at 11:16 p.m. in the 300 block of W. Broadway. The officer noticed a strong odor of marijuana as he approached the vehicle. A search revealed marijuana and drug paraphernalia. She was arrested and released from the scene with a Municipal summons.
Casey's General Store, 1909 W. Main, reported that on Friday evening around 5:45 p.m., someone in a black Dodge pickup backed into the west side of the building, then quickly drove off, traveling west on Main Street. According to the report, the truck did not have a rear license plate.
Thomas Edwin Beck, 28, Sedalia, was arrested for Driving While Suspended after a traffic stop for improperly affixed front license plate at 4:19 a.m. Monday morning at 7th and Grand. Beck was arrested and released from the scene with a Municipal summons.
On Monday afternoon, Sedalia Police arrested Edward Nathaniel Newbill, Jr., 43, Sedalia, on an active felony warrant. Newbill was transported to the Pettis County Jail with non bond.
