On Friday evening (July 20) at 8:33, Sedalia Police did a subject check in the 1500 Block of South Grand as a white male who appeared to have trouble standing. The victim said that he was run over by a vehicle. The Sedalia Fire Department and APSI were contacted and APSI transported him to Bothwell Regional Health Center. The victim had no visible physical injuries and was treated for pain. The suspect and victim were found to have a child in common. The Sedalia Police made contact with the suspect, but no arrest was made due to the lack of physical evidence.

Yesterday morning (July 22), Sedalia Police received an assault report. The victim told Sedalia Police that around 1:40 a.m. A disturbance occurred at Dukes 'N Boots, where someone ran over fencing that borders the property with a vehicle. The victim gave chase in the vehicle to the Lowe's parking lot. The victim was assaulted in the suspect's vehicle. The same suspect caused $500 in damage to the victim's vehicle by hitting it with a stick. The suspect then left the area.

Saturday, Sedalia Police went to Marvin and East 5th in reference to a disturbance in progress. A victim advised officers that he was slapped in the face five times. The suspect was not located and the investigation is ongoing.

Last night at 6:55 p.m. Sedalia Police went to Bothwell Regional Health Center for a dog bite. Sedalia Police talked with the victim and her guardian. The guardian stated the victim was at a neighbor's house in the 2900 Block of South Stewart. The victim was bit and had minor injuries to the face.

ABF at 417 North Park reported to Sedalia Police that they found a handful of nails in the parking lot of the business and that several tires parked on the lot had nails in them on Thursday, July 19th.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a computer from her couch in the 900 Block of South Osage on Sunday, July 22.

A woman reported to Sedalia Police that sometime between July 12 and July 18, her wallet was taken from a diaper bag in the 600 Block of North Missouri.

Sedalia Police arrested Kimberly Hopkins for a Benton County warrant for failure to appear, bond set at $1,000 cash only.

Sedalia Police arrested Lachrista balance for driving while suspended.

Sedalia Police arrested Conyus Newbill for driving while revoked.
