Sedalia Police Reports: Morning of December 13, 2013

The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff’s crime reports are from the morning of Friday, Dec. 13, 2013.

Several Thefts Investigated

A man in the 1300 Block of South Osage reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a package valued at $62.42 from in front of his home.

A woman in the 200 Block of West 7th reported to Sedalia Police that she ordered a 32-inch flat screen panel television off the internet and has not received it. The company the woman ordered it from said that it was delivered on Dec. 2, 2013.

A man in the 1700 Block of East 4th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole his compound bow from his home on Dec. 6. The man believes that the bow may be in an area pawn store.

A woman in the 1500 Block of East 4th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole money from out of her purse that was in her car.

A woman in Sedalia reported to Sedalia Police that someone used her social security number without consent to open a checking account in Gulfport, MS.

Sedalia Police Make One Arrest

Sedalia Police arrested Christopher Smither for failure to wear a seatbelt, identity theft and an active felony parole violation.
