Sedalia Police Reports: Morning of December 13, 2013

The following Sedalia Police and Pettis County Sheriff's crime reports are from the morning of Friday, Dec. 13, 2013.

Several Thefts Investigated

A man in the 1300 Block of South Osage reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole a package valued at $62.42 from in front of his home.

A woman in the 200 Block of West 7^th reported to Sedalia Police that she ordered a 32-inch flat screen panel television off the internet and has not received it. The company the woman ordered it from said that it was delivered on Dec. 2, 2013.

A man in the 1700 Block of East 4^th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole his compound bow from his home on Dec. 6. The man believes that the bow may be in an area pawn store.

A woman in the 1500 Block of East 4^th reported to Sedalia Police that someone stole money from out of her purse that was in her car.

A woman in Sedalia reported to Sedalia Police that someone used her social security number without consent to open a checking account in Gulfport, MS.

Sedalia Police Make One Arrest

Sedalia Police arrested Christopher Smither for failure to wear a seatbelt, identity theft and an active felony parole violation.
