Just before 11:00 last Sunday morning, the Sedalia Police S.T.I.N.G. Unit along with other law enforcement personnel served a search warrant at Apartment “C” at 501 West 7th.  The police report states that two subjects were in the apartment. Officers located methamphetamine individually packaged for sale, a digital scales, and packaging supplies.

Arrested at the scene was 55-year-old Paul Witten of the residence. Witten was transported to the Pettis County Jail, and placed on 24-hour hold pending formal charges of possession of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute, manufacturing a controlled substance within 2000 feet of a school, distribution of a controlled substance within 2000 feet of a school and possession of drug paraphernalia.
