Sedalia Police conducted a warrant sweep, between April 9 and 11. The goal was to attempt to contact over 150 subjects with outstanding warrants, provide community service to the citizens to meet and talk with police officers about crime in the area and for officers to be pro-active in an attempt to locate subjects committing various types of criminal activity or traffic incidents and complaints within the community.

The Street Crimes Unit was able to locate and or clear 29 subjects with outstanding warrants. 7 people were arrested for driving while suspended/revoked; 2 subjects were arrested for no operator's license;  8 for various drug violations; 1 for property damage/resisting arrest/identity theft; 1 for hit and run/driving while intoxicated and 1 for robbery in the 2nd degree and stealing.

All the bonds for the warrant arrests, rounded up by the Street Crimes Unit, during the three days totaled over $54,000.
The STING Unit had four search warrants that the Street Crime Unit assisted in executing over the period of April 9-12, that resulted in the arrest of seven additional subjects.

Sedalia Police arrested Carmie Long for possession of marijuana; possession of methamphetamine; possession with the intent to distribute; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police arrested Cheri Lambert for possession of marijuana, bond set at $3,500.

Sedalia Police arrested Tyree Anderson for possession of marijuana; distribution/delivery/manufacture of other dangerous drugs; possession of other dangerous drugs; unlawful possession/transaction/manufacturing/repair/sale of an illegal weapon; possession of a defaced firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia, bond set at $75,000.

Sedalia Police arrested Michael Jones for possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

Sedalia Police arrested Joshua Jackson for possession with intent; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia; unlawful transaction with a child; and drug user in possession of firearms, bond set at $50,000.

Sedalia Police arrested Laura Martin for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, bond set at $7,500.

Sedalia Police arrested Michelle Anderson for possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; failure to appear warrant, bond set at $5,000.
