The Sedalia Public Library has officially been closed for repairs. According to City Administrator Gary Edwards, the library will be closed until further notice due to ongoing structural repairs.

Edwards told KSIS that at a meeting Thursday evening after consulting with a a structural engineer, they decided to close the library during those repairs for safety reasons. As of Friday, August 10, Edwards could not give a definite time for the library to reopen.
