The Salvation Army of Sedalia is always busy working on helping people here in our area. They offer lots of dinners, but coming up on April 20 they have a free Easter dinner. Not only can you enjoy the food, but you can also volunteer with the meal itself. It'll be served fro 12:30 p.m to 2:00 p.m. They'll be serving that, but also they'll be delivering to the homebound and elderly shut-ins before the meal begins.

I got to talk with Lorraine Eiler, the VISTA Volunteer coordinator for the Salvation Army about the meal, how you can help and other great free things that Salvation Army offers.

So don't forget, every day from 12:00 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. you can stop by and have a free lunch, and the big Easter free lunch is on April 20 at 12:30 p.m. If you or someone you know needs a meal or would like to volunteer as a driver, the number again is 660-826-1525.

Easterly yours,
Behka
