The monthly tests of the tornado warning sirens have been moved from Noon today to 1 p.m. This is a one time change, due to the International Harvesters events happening at the Missouri State Fairgrounds.

There are several events planned around noon and a lot of visitors in the area and Sedalia/Pettis County EMA Director David Clippert did not want to drown out the opening ceremonies for the International Harvesters or cause alarm to those getting ready to kick things off.

There is not a threat for severe weather at this time.

So for today only the monthly siren test will be moved til 1 p.m. Keep in mind these tests are conducted the first Wednesday of the month at noon. If there is a threat of severe weather, the tests will be moved to the 2nd Wednesday at Noon from here on out.
