Two suspects were arrested when detectives with the Sedalia STING Unit Sedalia Police officers served a no-knock drug related search warrant at 414 East 5th St. on Monday morning (March 17).

A press release from the STING Unit states that upon entry to the residence at 3:48 a.m., officers located two adults and a juvenile in the residence. Both adults, identified as 33-year-old Bobbie Jo Thomas and 32-year-old Troydean W. Walker, were taken into custody.

A search of the residence revealed that Thomas was in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, cocaine and prescription pills. Additional evidence obtained during the investigation revealed Thomas was distributing methamphetamine from the home. Walker was found to have active warrants out of Pettis County.

Both suspects were arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Thomas was placed on 24-hour hold pending state charges of distribution of a controlled substance within 2000 feet of a school, five counts of possession of a controlled substance, first degree endangering the welfare of a child, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful transaction with a child. Walker was booked into jail and provided bond amount of $135,000.00 cash or surety on four active warrants.
