The Sedalia STING Unit and Sedalia Police arrested 46-year-old Douglas Burlingame, 24-year-old Laura Martin and 29-year-old Paul Lucito after serving a search warrant at a home at 1025 South Merriam Ave. on Friday (Feb. 21) at 5:22 a.m. A search of the home found methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills and drug paraphernalia.

Additional evidence revealed Burlingame was distributing methamphetamine from the home. Approximately $5,000 in cash was also recovered during the service of the warrant, which is believed to be the profit from the distribution of illegal drugs.

Burlingame faces charges of distribution of a controlled substance (meth), first degree endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a a controlled substance (methamphetamine and marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Martin faces charges of possession of a a controlled substance (methamphetamine and Schedule 3 controlled narcotics first degree endangering the welfare of a child, possession of drug paraphernalia unlawful transaction with a child.

Lucito faces charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
