The Sedalia Police Department stated in a press release that Sedalia Police and detectives with the STING Unit responded to 1900 South Ohio at 5:18 Sunday morning (Aug. 25) to serve a drug related search warrant. Upon arrival, entry was forced into the residence, and contact was made with a male and female.

A subsequent search revealed the male subject was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A further investigation revealed the male subject was had intent to distribute the marijuana. The female subject was also found to be in possession of marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

At the time of the press release, 31-year-old Felipe D. Tapia and 44-year-old Lori L. Bisenieks were on 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail pending formal drug related charges.
