e and the Sedalia STING Team arrested 33-year-old Gonzalo Esqueda, after he was found to be riding a bicycle with defective and missing equipment on Friday (June 13) at 12:05 am. Esqueda was found to be in possession of marijuana and drug parhaphernalia. Further investigation by Sedalia Police, uncovered that Gonzalo was enroute to sell marijuana. Gonzalo was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. Gonzalo was issued a $50,000 cash/surety bond.
Sedalia Police STING Unit, Pettis County Deputies and the Missouri State Highway Patrol arrested 40-year-old, Paula Allen and 45-year-old Ernest Motley on Saturday night (June 14), after they did a search of their home at 916 South Kentucky. A search of the home revealed a large quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription pills, drug paraphernalia and additional evidence that the drugs were being distributed from the home, which was within 2,000 feet of the Smith Cotton Jr. High School. Allen faces charges of 1st degree drug trafficking, distribution of methamphetamine and marijuana within 2,000 feet of a school, five counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Motley faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Sedalia Police and the STING Unit arrested 26-year-old Kenneth Millard on June 3 after they saw him digging through the dumpster, in front of the Salvation Army Store, at 601 South Ohio on June 3. Millard was found to be in possession of methamphetamine and controlled medications and drug paraphernalia. Further investigation found that Millard had picked up the controlled substances and intended to deliver them to another location in Sedalia. Millard was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia with the intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, clonazepam and drug paraphernalia and trespassing in the 2nd degree. Millar was issued a $50,000 cash/surety bond.
